How this calculation works
Calendar-day difference excludes the start date; equal dates give zero. Reversed dates give a negative difference. Addition uses calendar days, including weekends and holidays. Supported years: 1000–9999.
Worked example
1 January to 1 February 2026 is 31 days. Adding 30 days to 1 January gives 31 January.
